1. Who we are

ResumeFit ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Jimmy V John, an individual sole proprietor ("the Seller"). By accessing or using the service at jobresumefit.online (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, uploading a resume, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. What ResumeFit provides

ResumeFit is an AI-powered platform that analyzes resumes against job descriptions, produces ATS match scores and improvement suggestions, and generates tailored resume and report downloads in PDF and Word formats.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications through the Service;
  • Interfere with, probe, scan, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the security or technical limits of the Service;
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by the Seller and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your subscription plan. You retain ownership of the resume and job-description content you upload; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

7. AI-generated output

ResumeFit uses generative AI. Output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or content that does not reflect your actual experience. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any AI-generated content before submitting it to employers or third parties. The Service is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or employment advice.

You must not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or that misrepresents your qualifications. You are responsible for the prompts you provide, the outputs you use, and ensuring you have the rights to any content you input.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Seller harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence apply.
